<p>One of the worst &#8220;offenders&#8221; when it comes to high-fructose corn syrup is that of the condiment variety.  Just today I found out Miracle Whip has hfcs in it!  Even as much as I&#8217;ve researched about this stuff, I&#8217;m still occasionally surprised to find a product that uses it.</p>

<p>· 1 28-oz can tomato puree<br />
· 1 cup apple cider vinegar<br />
· 2 tablespoons honey<br />
· 4 tablespoons brown sugar<br />
· 1 tablespoon grey poupon mustard<br />
· 1 tsp sea salt<br />
· 1 tablespoon paprika<br />
· 1/2 tsp garlic powder<br />
· 2 cups water</p>
<p>Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring often. Lower heat to a very low simmer for 2 hours (or until sauce thickens to the consistency you want it), stirring occasionally.</p>
