My husband is a big Pepsi lover and we were so glad when Pepsi Throwback became a mainstay at the store. Now I can get him a Pepsi for his lunch and not feel like I compromised on our avoidance of HFCS.

Possible new additions to list: I am pretty sure that Hunt's ketchup and a few of their pasta sauces (not all) are HFCS free. They have "sugar". We also picked up Planter's Creamy Peanut Butter this week and it listed sugar - not HFCS.

Love the list and am glad to see it growing. If we continue to resist buying HFCS and get our friends and family on board maybe, just maybe, the companies will listen to us (if they want to continue making profits).

Follow the money! After air, water, and salt. HFCS is the next cheapest ingredient which to formulate foods.

Thanks for the list. I found a soda pop named Zevia that is actually made with Stevia. No HFCS.
I found it in Smiths grocery store. You can look at their web site for the store closest to you that
carries their products. Taste good. Have avoided cola drinks for years. Only drank the others occasionally. Now I'm trying to avoid all HFCS products. I need better eyesight to read the small
print.

And don't forget corn syrup solids, corn syrup, and corn sugar. All the same. Be sure it says sugar. As of now the FDA only allows that name for sucrose, the real old fashioned table sugar that we all ate before we got fat and sick. Dr. Dee

There are also several budget stores which have their name brands without HFCS. For example, most of the Walmart, "Great Value" has real sugar.

You can find great ideas on this current site. We have a book which tells you exactly why it is bad for you.
"Gaining Weight?High fructose corn syrup and obesity" on Amazon.

Read our book Gaining Weight? High Fructose Corrn Syrup and Obesity. Balboa Press. We have included a lot of sientific data and the history of how HFCS has made so many people in the US fat. It's a good book for mothers whose doctors have told them that their child must lose weight or risk getting Metabolic Syndrome.
